Hi everybody

Happy National Inclusion Week!

Wow September has absolutely flown by. How has La Rentrée been for you? We've been busy with pitches and plenty of great delivery too. We've won a piece of business delivering in English, Spanish, German and French for the first time and have a great partnership with the IPA coming in 2021. Finally we've begun work on a mental health e-learning module which we're hoping to have with you next month. Watch this space!

The D&I calendar is super busy this time of year so I'll highlight some of the great stuff coming up.

National Inclusion Week - we have given you 30% off of our e-learning modules for this week only. Book here using the code WUQGQSBS

Support package - We're making next week's webinar free! The support package has been put together to support all of us through these challenging times. Next week's theme is Understanding Change. I'll be talking through how some of the research may support us in understanding change, and Will Pike (Mumbai bombings survivor and disability activist) is going to talk about his own change journey. Expect to come away understanding your own feelings better and also Will just challenges my stereotypes around disability every time we chat. Register for your ticket here.

Black History Month - starts on Thursday! This year the legacy of slavery in the UK has come to be noticed by the wider population. What will you do this year to celebrate black history? After all, it is so much more than the slave trade. I found this article over the summer inspiring.

Get in touch if you would like a talk delivered in your organisation.

International Men's Day - More on this in the next newsletter but we're looking ahead to our annual IMD event on the 19th November. For the moment we'd like your support with our research into how masculinity impacts workplace cultures.  Please fill out this survey so we can all get a far better understanding of how everyone in the workplace is feeling and can use this to help inspire changes that will lead to more inclusive and diverse workplaces. Findings will be presented at the Masculinity in the Workplace event on 19th November @WeAreUtopians@roxanne_hobbs #MIW2020

Thanks all. I think National Inclusion Week is hugely important this year. Belonging is a fundamental need of us all. How can we support those around us to feel like they belong when they're working remotely? Pick up the phone to someone just to say hi...
