SUMMARY:60 hour ICF-Accredited Coach Training Programme: starting with a 30 hour intensive training retreat!
DESCRIPTION:April 2026 \nLocation:  Tangier \n60-hour training course\, for all you need for your ICF ACC credential\, plus access to a supportive and beautiful community. \nEmail liz@thehobbsconsultancy.com to register your interest. \nWhat's it all about? \nWe are partnering with Awaken Coach Institute to bring you an ICF-accredited 60-hour in-person coaching program\, which starts with an immersive in-person 30-hour training in beautiful Andalusia\, Spain. Roxanne Hobbs will be facilitating alongside Christi\, guiding you through this transformative experience that will provide you with everything you need to pursue your ACC-level ICF certification. Plus\, you’ll join a rich and supportive community that continues to nurture your growth after the program ends. \nWhen you take a coaching approach as a leader\, you shift from a directive style to one that emphasises empowerment\, active listening\, empathy and continuous growth.  In our new world of AI\, a human-centred approach will set you apart as a leader. A shift in leadership style from control to collaboration can contribute to cultures that have inclusion at their centre and happier\, healthier and more productive teams. \n\n Empower your team\n\nA coaching approach means believing in your team. Rather than delegating or instructing tasks\, a coaching approach means asking powerful questions so that they find the solutions on their own. Over time this increases confidence and accountability. \n\n Enhance listening skills\n\nHow often\, when you are truly busy\, are you sat there waiting for people to finish talking so you can say what you desperately want to say?! As a coach\, you will learn active listening which helps to create a trusting space where colleagyes are more likely to share their ideas\, challenges and vulnerability. \n\n Adopt a growth mindset\n\nBy adopting a growth mindset\, you encourage your team to see challenges as opportuniies for learning rather than obstacles. In turn\, this will nurture creativity and a willingness to embrace change and take calculated risks in the service of innovation and growth. \n\n Build psychological safety \n\nWe all know how important this is to teams\, and coaching builds this trust by showing that you value your teams input. Failure becomes less scary and\, again\, calculated risks are possible. Furthermore the empathy skills and self management skills that you learn\, will enhance the willingness of your team to be vulnerable. \n\n Encourage ownership of development and self reflection\n\nAccountability shifts from a top down mandate to a mutually agreed framework for success. By encouraging self reflection\, powerful coaching questions help your team to identify their strengths and areas for improvement \nThis Coach Certification Program includes 30 hours of ICF-accredited training and certification\, plus 15 hours of mentor coaching (7 group\, 3 individual\, 5 self-assessment hours)\, 15 hours of self-study\, plus community based skills deepening\, community connection and business building workshops when the retreat ends. This offering provides all the training\, mentoring\, and assessment hours you need toward your ICF ACC credential\, and can be applied toward your PCC. \nThe course will be facilitated by Roxanne Hobbs and Christi Byerly. \nCome and join us! \nFor full course details and to register your interest or book your place\, click here.

SUMMARY:Masculinity in the Workplace 2025
DESCRIPTION:Masculinity in the Workplace is the only event in the UK that is designed specifically to engage men with creating inclusive cultures. \nMarking International Men's Day\, the objective of our event is to give men both the reason and the skills to lean into the conversation\, while also providing women and non-binary people with the confidence to engage more men in culture change. Because ultimately we can only make real change by working together. \nWho is it for? \nThis event is for anyone passionate about creating more inclusive\, equitable\, diverse and human workplaces\, and we welcome attendees of all identities and expressions. \nHistorically\, our audience has included around 60% men and 40% women or non-binary people\, with a wide range of roles and lived experiences. \nThis year\, we’re especially keen to welcome CEOs\, HRDs\, CMOs\, Inclusion & Diversity leaders\, People & Culture teams\, and anyone working to engage men more effectively in their organisations. Whether you're a parent\, people manager\, or someone invested in systemic culture change\, this event is for you. \nTheme \nThe theme for this year is 'Supporting Boys to Men to Role Models'. This year’s event will seek to understand the concerns and barriers that are in the way for boys and men\, particularly looking at key inflection points in their lives. It will suggest that positive healthy masculine role models and vulnerable conversations are part of the solution\, knowing that support and healing may be needed (for all genders) to be able to step up. We aim to equip parents\, leaders\, friends and persons of significance in the lives of young men with the tools for self-reflection\, effective role modelling and courageous conversations. \nIt will suggest that status-seeking and risk-taking behaviours are innate as boys become men\, look at how this shows up for boys in 2025 and question what support could help these boys have a more positive initiation in to adulthood so that they are ready for the workplace. We know that there is a reverse gender pay gap and that schools aren't preparing students in the same way to enter the professional workplace - what needs to be done?\nWe will look at the behaviours that are role modelled by men once they are in the workplace. Is it healthy for us to look for male role models\, or is a search for positive behaviours more effective? What can we learn from how men are represented on screen and in the media? And what can we do to support our men once they are in the workplace? \nWhat you can expect to walk away with: \n\nA deeper understanding of the generational divide - the hopes\, aspirations of young men as they enter the workplace and the support that they need\nAn understanding of what teenage boys are going through and how you can engage / support\nInsight into the role of positive male role models in creating healthy\, inclusive cultures\nTools for engaging men more meaningfully in inclusion and mental health conversations\nPractical micro-actions you and your organisation can take to support men\, challenge stereotypes\, and foster equity\nStories of progress and transformation from organisations successfully shifting masculine norms\nA fresh perspective on the future of work - one where emotional expression\, empathy\, and vulnerability are recognised as leadership strengths\n\nBy attending\, you’ll be joining a growing community of people committed to reshaping masculinity\, unlocking allyship\, and building workplace cultures where everyone can thrive - from boys and young men to senior leaders and everyone in between. \nOur speakers will share their insights and experiences\, shedding light on the evolving dynamics of masculinity\, leadership and culture in diverse work environments. You'll have the chance to ask questions\, participate in interactive sessions\, and network with like-minded professionals. \nFor speaker info\, the agenda and to book an in-person ticket\, click here. \nFor speaker info\, the agenda and to book a virtual ticket\, click here. \n--

SUMMARY:Dare to Lead: January 2025
DESCRIPTION:3 day programme:  7th - 9th January \nIn Central London. \nYou may have heard the news that Brené Brown is partnering with BetterUp in the US with regards to delivering Dare to Lead. We aren't sure what this will mean for us but we have been allowed to run one more of these in this format before the end of January. \nBrené Brown has taught us what it means to dare greatly\, rise strong\, and brave the wilderness. Now\, based on research conducted with leaders\, change makers\, and culture shifters\, the Dare to Lead™ curriculum will show us how to put those ideas into practice so we can step up and lead. Leadership is not about titles or the corner office. It’s about the willingness to step up\, put yourself out there\, and lean into courage. The world is desperate for braver leaders. It’s time for all of us to step up. This is a curriculum for developing brave leaders and courageous cultures. It’s learning and practice that requires brave work\, tough conversations\, and truly showing up. Daring Leadership is a collection of four skill sets that are 100% teachable. \nThe curriculum addresses key challenges our research suggests that companies are grappling with:\n\nWe avoid tough conversations\, including giving honest\, productive feedback.\nRather than spending a reasonable amount of time proactively acknowledging and addressing the fears and feelings that show up during change and upheaval\, we spend an unreasonable amount of time managing problematic behaviours.\nDiminishing trust caused by a lack of connection and empathy.\nNot enough people are taking smart risks or creating and sharing bold ideas to meet changing demands and the insatiable need for innovation.\nWe get stuck and defined by setbacks\, disappointments\, and failures\, so instead of spending resources on clean-up to ensure that consumers\, stakeholders\, or internal processes are made whole\, we are spending too much time and energy reassuring team members who are questioning their contribution and value.\nToo much shame and blame\, not enough accountability and learning.\nPeople are opting out of vital conversations about diversity and inclusivity because they fear looking wrong\, saying something wrong\, or being wrong. Choosing our own comfort over hard conversations is the epitome of privilege\, and it corrodes trust and moves us away from meaningful and lasting change.\nWhen something goes wrong\, individuals and teams are rushing into ineffective or unsustainable solutions rather than staying with problem identification and solving. When we fix the wrong thing for the wrong reason\, the same problems continue to surface. It’s costly and demoralizing.\nOrganisational values are gauzy and assessed in terms of aspirations rather than actual behaviours that can be taught\, measured\, and evaluated.\nPerfectionism and fear are keeping people from learning and growing.\n\nThe common thread? How we deal with fear. We will teach the skills required to tackle these issues by becoming braver leaders. \nTraining structure:\nPart 1 Rumbling with vulnerability - How we react to fear and choosing to lean in to risk\, uncertainty and emotional exposure. \nPart 2 Living into Our Values - Clarity on our values and the gap between our desired values and our behaviour. \nPart 3 Braving Trust - How trust is built and destroyed in organisations. \nPart 4 Learning to Rise – Resilience; failing forward (learning whilst failing) . Dare to Lead™ is for you if you are a leader who wants to become braver in your leadership. \nDelivery:\nDare to Lead™ is a three day skills based curriculum based on research to support brave leaders in your organisation who want to build courageous cultures. This event will be delivered on the 7th\, 8th and 9th January 2025. Attendees will leave the session with a workbook and participate in online evaluation via the team in Houston. Individuals who successfully complete the full Dare to Lead™ programme will receive a certificate of completion and are allowed to put a Dare to Lead™ Trained badge on their LinkedIn account. Please note this doesn’t qualify you to teach the curriculum. If you would like to bring Dare to Lead™ to your organisation please contact us for further information. \nAbout the Facilitator\, Roxanne Hobbs:\nThe course will be facilitated by Roxanne Hobbs (CPCC\, PCC\, DWF\, CDTLF). Roxanne is the founder of The Hobbs Consultancy\, initially founded to effect change for women in the advertising industry. Since then she has come to realise that it isn’t the women that need fixing and that it is not just women who face barriers in the workplace. Roxanne’s specialism is inclusivity in the workplace - how to show up as yourself and how to create teams that feel able to show up as themselves. She believes that it is possible to have a fulfilling career and a happy home life and works with people to achieve just that. \nDare to Lead™ is based on the research of Brené Brown:\nDr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past fifteen years studying courage\, vulnerability\, shame\, and empathy and is the author of three #1 New York Times bestsellers – The Gifts of Imperfection\, Daring Greatly\, and Rising Strong. Her TED talk – The Power of Vulnerability – is one of the top five most viewed TED talks in the world with over 25 million views. SUMMARY:Masculinity in the Workplace 2024 - Virtual Edition
DESCRIPTION:Masculinity in the Workplace is the only UK event designed specifically to engage men with Inclusion and Diversity. \nIt is run by The Hobbs Consultancy and Token Man and this year will be our 7th year of delivering a highly impactful event (average feedback of 9.0 out of 10 across the 5 years). \nThis year’s theme is Leading with Heart  which will be an exploration of the leadership skills needed in the next ten years\, the barriers that might be in our way and clear actions you can take to upskill yourself. \nBook your tickets via Eventbrite here. \nAGENDA \n1330-1345 Welcome by Roxanne and Daniele\nWe'll explore the key trends in this space at the moment and explain why we've chosen the theme. \n1345-1425 Leading from Heart - Humans vs. AI: Speaker TBC\nIn the age of AI what is going to differentiate us from the bots? Many argue that much of the 'head and hands' work is going to be tech-led\, and therefore runs the risk of our skill sets becoming redundant. However\, skills associated with heart\, e.g. empathy\, compassion\, connection\, are difficult for the bots to replicate. How can we make sure we are protecting our careers and supporting the careers of those around us by focusing on the skills of the future? \n1425-1455 Engage Men to Lead with Heart Panel\nLeading with heart is a choice\, and it is a vulnerable choice. We will gather a group of leaders who are known for 'leading with heart' and they will talk about the challenges they have faced in the workplace\, along with their successes. Confirmed so far is Xavier Rees\, CEO of AMB VVDO and Chair of the IPA. \n1455-1515 Rox and Daniele - Leading with Heart Discussion\nRox and Daniele\, the cofounders of this event\, have been on their own journey as individuals and as a team over the past few years. Whilst normally we stay in the background at this event\, we have decided to share some of our learnings\, our tricky moments and our successes in our own journeys. \n1515-1545 BREAK \n1545-1630 Darren Burns - From Leading with Hurt to Leading with Heart\nDarren will talk us through his journey form leading with hurt through to leading with heart. He is in charge of the programme at The Timpson Group which seeks to rehabilitate offenders. In his previous career he was in the police\, and one of those putting people in prison. He will talk about what has created this shift and how things work on the ground at The Timpson Group. \n1630-1715 Break-outs: From insight to action (TBC)\nWe want to ensure everyone leaves having spoken to other people at the event\, and with actions that they can take to help create systemic change. \n1715-1730 Closing thoughts from Roxanne and Daniele

SUMMARY:Dare to Lead™ November 2024
DESCRIPTION:3 day programme:  5th - 7th November \nThis event will be in-person in central London. \nBrené Brown has taught us what it means to dare greatly\, rise strong\, and brave the wilderness. Now\, based on new research conducted with leaders\, change makers\, and culture shifters\, the new Dare to Lead™ curriculum will show us how to put those ideas into practice so we can step up and lead. \nThe curriculum addresses key challenges our research suggests that companies are grappling with:\n\nWe avoid tough conversations\, including giving honest\, productive feedback.\nRather than spending a reasonable amount of time proactively acknowledging and addressing the fears and feelings that show up during change and upheaval\, we spend an unreasonable amount of time managing problematic behaviours.\nDiminishing trust caused by a lack of connection and empathy.\nNot enough people are taking smart risks or creating and sharing bold ideasto meet changing demands and the insatiable need for innovation.\nWe get stuck and defined by setbacks\, disappointments\, and failures\, so instead of spending resources on clean-up to ensure that consumers\, stakeholders\, or internal processes are made whole\, we are spending too much time and energy reassuring team members who are questioning their contribution and value.\nToo much shame and blame\, not enough accountability and learning.\nPeople are opting out of vital conversations about diversity and inclusivity because they fear looking wrong\, saying something wrong\, or being wrong. This event will be delivered on the 5th\, 6th and 7th November 2024. SUMMARY:Mental Health: An intersectional approach
DESCRIPTION:This is a 45 minute taster webinar looking at mental health through an intersectional lens. \nEveryone’s identity and life experiences are different. It seems obvious that we should consider the intersectionality of these identities when we approach mental health. Sometimes we are not even considering any of them. People’s different experiences create different challenges for our mental health and also mean different interventions are successful or otherwise. \nA young\, gay male graduate\, whose sexuality has not been accepted by his family\, will have entirely different mental health challenges from a middle manager coming back from extended leave due to baby loss. Each of these situations needs an individualised approach. \nThis webinar is a taster of the research that we have put together on this subject\, looking at what we know about how aspects of our identities intersect and impact our mental health.  Given the wealth of data pointing to just how much our mental health is impacted by our identity\, we make the case for a more intersectional approach to mental health interventions. \nThe aim of this is to help you to: \n\nUnderstand why it makes sense to look at mental health through an intersectional lens\nLearn how mental health problems show up differently in the workplace and beyond for different identity markers and what unique barriers might be in the way when several markers intersect\nCome away with tips for approaching colleagues about mental health which respects all aspects of their identity and how they intersect

SUMMARY:Masculinity in the Workplace 2023
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Masculinity in the Workplace\, the only event in the UK that is designed specifically to engage men with inclusion and diversity. Marking International Men's Day\, the objective of our event is to give men the skills to lean into the conversation\, while also providing women and non-binary people with the skills to engage more men in inclusion and diversity. Because ultimately we can only make real change by working together. \nOur distinguished speakers will share their insights and experiences\, shedding light on the evolving dynamics of masculinity in diverse work environments. You'll have the chance to ask questions\, participate in interactive sessions\, and network with like-minded professionals. \nThe theme for this year is 'The Power of Identity'. We have chosen this theme because it will allow us to explore some current and contemporary issues around men and masculinity. We will look at intersectionality\, how identity is formed\, the thorny issue of privilege and explore why some men are being drawn to unhealthy ideals of masculinity\, such as Andrew Tate. \nClick here to book your virtual ticket. This is the digital version of the event - if you are keen to come to the in-person event\, please do get in contact. \nAGENDA \n13.45: Introduction and welcome - Daniele Fiandaca\, Founder of Token Man & Roxanne Hobbs\, Founder of The Hobbs Consultancy \nPart 1 - Experiences with identity \n13.55: Keynote: Eshaan Akbar - Personal Experience \nWe have seen Eshaan perform live in Hemel Hempstead and think we're in for a treat. He uses the medium of comedy to express complex and nuanced ideas around identity. His own identity is very interesting in that he was born in the UK to Bangladeshi and Pakistani parents. He also has a hidden disability that he has come to terms with. \n14.40: Research findings from this year's Masculinity in the Workplace survey. \n14.55: BREAK \nPart 2 - Forming our identity \n15.20: Fireside chat with Susie Orbach - How identity is formed \nThe structure of parenting\, and how parents parent\, has a significant bearing on how boys and girls are raised and how they internalise notions of masculinity. As such\, their identities are formed in response to unconscious gender constraints and prescriptions pressed on them by their parents as well as society as a whole. \n16.05: Panel - Engaging men with inclusion and diversity \nOur panellists will discuss how they have been successful in engaging men with inclusion and diversity and how this is shifting the culture in their business. Confirmed panellists are: \n\nElaine Grell\, Chief People Officer\, Ogilvy\nMike Vallis\, Managing Director RTPs\, Merlin Entertainments\nTafadzwa Muchenje\, Marketing Exec\, Channel 4 & Co-chair\, The Shed\n\nPart 3 - Beyond masking to authenticity \n16.45: BREAK \n17.00: Keynote: Matt Lindley - Unmasking vulnerability \nAirline and former Royal Air Force pilot Matt Lindley talks candidly about being one of the first openly gay pilots in the UK Armed Forces. Listen to his journey of having a childhood dream to fly\, almost crushed by a ban on gay serving personnel in the Armed Forces. Matt will discuss not only his personal journey and the importance of allies that helped him\, but practical inclusive tools used in the aviation world to deliver collaborative decision making and a speak up culture on the flight deck. \n17:45: Close - Daniele Fiandaca & Roxanne Hobbs

SUMMARY:Free Webinar - Managing Through Life Events
DESCRIPTION:This webinar is aimed at line managers\, CPD managers\, and all those who are managing direct reports and will discuss how to become more empathetic and knowledgeable in your support for those going through life events.\nThose going through significant life events have often been asked to continue to turn up at work without their emotions or performance being impacted by what is going on at home. Inclusion is about enabling our colleagues to show up as themselves and not leaving parts of themselves outside of the workplace. Therefore a huge part of the inclusion agenda must be to ensure line managers have the understanding\, empathy and skills to effectively and compassionately support with such life events as they arise. \nThis session will explore maternity\, paternity\, infertility\, bereavement\, miscarriage\, menopause and other unexpected life turns. \nLearning Outcomes:\n\nUnderstanding of why upskilling is required and the difference the line manager can make.\nA sense of the skills that a line manager can lean in to develop so as to support individuals.\nGreater empathy for the experience of individuals going through life events.\nTips and tools to better support direct reports and signposting to further resources.\n\nThis webinar will be led by Roxanne Hobbs and include real life stories from individuals experiencing such events.

SUMMARY:Healthy Dialogue or Cancel Culture? - FREE Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Healthy Dialogue or Cancel Culture? \nWith Rox and Adé Adeniji \nCancel culture is a modern form of ostracism in which someone is thrust out of social or professional circles – whether it be online\, on social media\, or in person. Those subject to this ostracism are said to have been “cancelled”. \nIn this dialogue\, Rox and Adé will explore the impact of cancel culture. Does it create systemic change and eradicate unpopular and unjust behaviour? Or does it limit constructive dialogue that could create true sustainable change. We will speak to the fear of engaging in conversation - and the barriers in the way of healthy dialogue. \nWhat is the impact of shutting down? How can we enter conversations with the armour off\, willing to learn and grow? And whose responsibility is this? We will acknowledge polarising topics and suggest tools we can use to keep the conversation going about them\, including boundaries\, the 3 levels of listening\, empathy and self compassion.

SUMMARY:Gender identity and expression in the workplace - FREE webinar
DESCRIPTION:We’ll be honest\, we didn’t manage to get our ducks in a row to explore transgender issues during Pride. But we’re ready now and will do it during National Inclusion Week instead! \nCome and join us for a conversation with Sophie Cook - writer\, speaker\, broadcaster & photographer | LGBT & mental health campaigner | Hon Doctor of Letters | RAF veteran | Self harm and suicide survivor | 13th most influential figure in Brighton\, apparently… oh\, and transgender. We’ve worked closely with Sophie to pull together a fantastic e-learning module which explores gender identity and expression in the workplace. We know how powerful it is to hear people’s stories. So we’ll be hearing her talking about her story\, touching on themes of Gender dysphoria\, mental health and courage. \n“I first came across Sophie when I ran an event called HeANDShe (now Masculinity in the Workplace) and she shared her story there so powerfully. The diversity and inclusion journey is about winning our hearts as well as our minds\, so I invite you all to attend this free webinar and listen to Sophie’s powerful story. I’ve learnt a lot from her and I think you will too." ~Rox Hobbs\, Founder of The Hobbs Consultancy

SUMMARY:Dare to Lead™
DESCRIPTION:Brené Brown has taught us what it means to dare greatly\, rise strong\, and brave the wilderness. Now\, based on new research conducted with leaders\, change makers\, and culture shifters\, the new Dare to Lead™ curriculum will show us how to put those ideas into practice so we can step up and lead. Part 2 Living into Our Values - Clarity on our values and the gap between our desired values and our behaviour. Part 3 Braving Trust - How trust is built and destroyed in organisations. Part 4 Learning to Rise – Resilience; failing forward (learning whilst failing) . Dare to Lead™ is for you if you are a leader who wants to become braver in your leadership. \nDelivery:\nDare to Lead™ is a two day skills based curriculum based on research to support brave leaders in your organisation who want to build courageous cultures. If this pre-planned event has to be delivered virtually\, we will run it over 4 mornings on the 18th\, 19th & 20th May\, 2021. Attendees will leave the session with a beautiful workbook and participate in online evaluation via the team in Houston. Individuals who successfully complete the full 16-hour Dare to Lead™ programme will receive a certificate of completion and are allowed to put a Dare to Lead™ Trained badge on their LinkedIn account. SUMMARY:International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2020: Panel talk with Emma Gardner & Will Pike
DESCRIPTION:Building Back Better: toward a disability-inclusive\, accessible and sustainable post COVID-19 World.\nIf you've done our Disability in the Workplace e-learning module\, you'll know that Disabled people are one of the largest and most excluded groups in the workplace. In some ways\, Covid has made the rest of us understand what disabled people have been saying for years : Flexible working and remote working can work! On the other hand\, we also know that Covid is strengthening existing inequality. Here at The Hobbs Consultancy\, we strongly support this year's theme for the 'International day of Persons with Disabilities' - Building Back Better: toward a disability-inclusive\, accessible and sustainable post COVID-19 World. \nCome and join us for a free lunchtime session where we will hear prominent disability activists discuss how we can rebuild in a truly inclusive way. \nOur Panel\nWill Pike\n \nWill became a paraplegic in 2008 when he was injured during the Mumbai Terror Attack. After spending six months being rehabilitated at the Spinal Injury Unit in Stanmore\, he returned home to London and began life as a disabled person. \nWill is a presenter\, writer\, public speaker and disability rights activist. Will advises and speaks on a number of disability related issues; consulting with The Hobbs Consultancy to produce the Disability in the Workplace e-learning module. \n  \nWill is going to talk about his journey with physical accessibility - from an able-bodied man who had never thought about this topic\, he is now a paraplegic who is constantly vigilant to where and how he can access the workplace\, shops and houses. He will talk about how companies can create a more accessible workplace by consulting with disabled people and making adjustments. Finally\, he will touch on how the pandemic has shown that certain ways of working\, which the disabled community have been championing for years\, are in fact possible and effective\, and how we can use this moment as a catalyst for long lasting change. \nEmma Gardner\nCo-Founder at Born Equal Consults\, Emma is passionate about celebrating difference and reframing outdated narratives of disability. She believes in promoting and striving for *The Three Es: Everyday Equity for Everyone. \nShe has worked with charities\, industry bodies\, agencies & clients to raise awareness of the importance of representing & including disability within businesses\, their output & their wider reach. Emma is a regular speaker and commentator on disability – Media Trust\, lbb online\, Creative Brief\, Hubdot\, Interlaced\, Transform & Communicate Magazine\, Zebedee Management. \nEmma is going to talk about how her experience as a parent to a disabled child has forced her to a realisation of just how much "stuff" isn't fit for purpose - whether it's inaccessible\, ugly\, expensive or just not in existence yet. She is on a mission to improve online accessibility and has been helping THC with improving their offering in this area. She wants to be a creator of things that improve day-to-day life and is now working full time to achieve that goal. \n\nOur 60-minute panel talk will be hosted by Roxanne Hobbs\, founder of The Hobbs Consultancy.\n \nRoxanne is a key influencer in driving the Inclusivity and Diversity agenda in the advertising industry\, believing that we need to remove the barriers to success in the workplace and create cultures where people can show up as themselves and be valued for it. \nIn March 2017\, her eldest son was diagnosed with ASD and she was struck immediately by how we ask those that aren't neurotypical to change so they can fit with neurotypical norms. She is now heavily involved in creating and sustaining a conversation about Neurodiversity in the workplace - believing that there are many people with so much to offer that find it hard to access and to thrive in this environment. \n  \n  \n  \n\nAccess\nUpon signing up for your ticket\, you will receive a diary invite with zoom log in details.
