What's it all about?
We are partnering with Awaken Coach Institute to bring you an ICF-accredited 60-hour in-person coaching program, which starts with an immersive in-person 30-hour training in beautiful Andalusia, Spain. Roxanne Hobbs will be facilitating alongside Christi, guiding you through this transformative experience that will provide you with everything you need to pursue your ACC-level ICF certification. Plus, you’ll join a rich and supportive community that continues to nurture your growth after the program ends.
When you take a coaching approach as a leader, you shift from a directive style to one that emphasises empowerment, active listening, empathy and continuous growth. In our new world of AI, a human-centred approach will set you apart as a leader. A shift in leadership style from control to collaboration can contribute to cultures that have inclusion at their centre and happier, healthier and more productive teams.
A coaching approach means believing in your team. Rather than delegating or instructing tasks, a coaching approach means asking powerful questions so that they find the solutions on their own. Over time this increases confidence and accountability.
How often, when you are truly busy, are you sat there waiting for people to finish talking so you can say what you desperately want to say?! As a coach, you will learn active listening which helps to create a trusting space where colleagyes are more likely to share their ideas, challenges and vulnerability.
By adopting a growth mindset, you encourage your team to see challenges as opportuniies for learning rather than obstacles. In turn, this will nurture creativity and a willingness to embrace change and take calculated risks in the service of innovation and growth.
We all know how important this is to teams, and coaching builds this trust by showing that you value your teams input. Failure becomes less scary and, again, calculated risks are possible. Furthermore the empathy skills and self management skills that you learn, will enhance the willingness of your team to be vulnerable.
Accountability shifts from a top down mandate to a mutually agreed framework for success. By encouraging self reflection, powerful coaching questions help your team to identify their strengths and areas for improvement
This Coach Certification Program includes 30 hours of ICF-accredited training and certification, plus 15 hours of mentor coaching (7 group, 3 individual, 5 self-assessment hours), 15 hours of self-study, plus community based skills deepening, community connection and business building workshops when the retreat ends. This offering provides all the training, mentoring, and assessment hours you need toward your ICF ACC credential, and can be applied toward your PCC.
The course will be facilitated by Roxanne Hobbs and Christi Byerly.
